About Priya

Hi! My name is Priya. I love tutoring and have done for 4 years now. I have a well-rounded and in-depth knowledge of Chemistry, Biology and Maths. I love science so much I took triple science at GCSEs and got 8's and 7's in Biology, Chemistry and Physics. I also got a 7 in maths during GCSEs. I knew I always wanted to go into the healthcare field so I took my love for these sciences and studied them further at A Level (maths was by far my favourite subject!). I now am studying Pharmacy which includes all of the concepts from A Level Chemistry, Biology and even Maths, but of course, it is those concepts expanded further. When teaching, I am very adaptive to the student's needs, if they think something isn't working or they want to try something differently I am more than happy to help in any way I can.

About the lesson

I am currently studying for a master's degree in Pharmacy at Kingston. I can give my lessons to A-Level, GCSE students and primary school students. For GCSE students, I follow the exam board specification and explore topics further so the student has a broader knowledge of the subjects, therefore achieving higher marks. I will be using textbooks, worksheets and online presentations I myself have made or I have found online that I previously used that helped me get the grades. For primary school students, I will use worksheets, PowerPoints and games as from experience it engages them more into the work, making it more fun and enjoyable whilst also learning.
