About Joseph
I am a math teacher with experience teaching in a classroom setting. I have taught lessons ranging from algebra transitions and geometry, all the way up to calculus. While I believe in person lessons are invaluable, I also understand the busy world we live in and have no issue offering virtual help as well.
Math does not have to be confusing and I am living proof of that statement.

I was a student who barely made it through highschool math, convinced I was simply not smart enough. I had no drive to apply myself because I was simply not understanding the lessons or material. This all changed when I began college and wanted to pursue math/ physics. It wasn't until my 2nd semester where I had an amazing math professor that made me realize that I was simply not being taught in a way that made sense to me. I went from getting barely passing grades in highschool math, to getting great grades in subjects like calculus, differential equations, abstract & linear algebra, etc.
what I can offer is an approach to teaching that I wish I had whenni was in highschool. Everyone can learn math with the right mentality and mentor.
