About Jacob
To put it simply, I love teaching Mathematics. I've been tutoring since I was 16 years old and I aim to be a Math professor someday. What you'll get from me as a tutor will be someone who is eager to become the best educator they can be. I work incredibly hard for my students to make sure they are in the best position to succeed in their courses.

Teaching Mathematics is one of my favorite things to do! Math is a beautiful subject, and although I know not all of my students will love it, I do my best to rub off a little bit of my enthusiasm towards learning it on them during our sessions. I understand Math can be an anxiety-inducing course for many students, so I like to keep my lessons rather low-key and make our time together enjoyable as well as educational.
My greatest strengths as a tutor would be my improvisation and adaptability. There can be multiple ways to teach the same topic within a subject, and I am very confident in my ability to recognize which of those ways would be the best fit for a student. I also have a knack for making my own questions/quizzes for extra practice.
I can cover subjects from Algebra 1 all the way to third-year university courses like Linear Algebra, Differential Geometry, or Numerical Analysis.
