About Liam
I am a mathematics student at the University of Waterloo, heading into my 4th year in the fall. In my free time I like to play video games, hangout with friends, play piano, and prepare for math contests. I have been a math tutor for 2 years and have tutored high school students and university students in math. I have a passion for math and for learning which I enjoy sharing with people.

In general, a typical session with me looks like a lesson followed by a period to do some practice questions and answer any questions you may have. In my lesson, I like to explain the concepts and then walk through the solution to an example question for each new concept introduced. I adapt my teaching style to the student. For visual learners, I can develop explanations using pictures. For those with a more logical mind, I can give a more rigorous explanation. My lessons are always tailored to the student. Whether you are struggling in your class or excelling in the class, I'll make sure you learn something new with every lesson. I tutor high school students and university students. I can also help students prepare for math contests, especially any of the University of Waterloo math contests.
