About Oliver
An enthusiastic mathematician, I achieved nine grade 9s at GCSE (including in Mathematics and the three sciences) and four A*s at A-level (including in Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Physics). Warm and approachable, I am always thrilled to talk anything maths with anyone at any level!

I am a dedicated student and teacher, offering personalised mathematics tuition. I believe that too often students are let down by an education system which treats mathematics as something to be learned via rote memorisation, rather than something to be taken apart, explored and understood. I feel that the best way to learn mathematics is to see it used in a variety of contexts to allow the brain's incredible capacity for pattern recognition to kick in!
I offer tuition in both GCSE Mathematics as well as A-level Mathematics and Further Mathematics. (Due to the highly fragmentary, module-based nature of Further Mathematics, I primarily offer tuition for Edexcel Core Pure, although I am open to other optional modules and exam boards.)
