About Frances
I am a second-year mathematics student at the University of Texas at Austin. I have tutoring experience from my time in high school, I have individually tutored students in Algebra, geometry, precalculus, statistics and calculus. As well, I have previously taught a statistics class. I have also worked with elementary-aged students in basic arithmetic.

My tutoring process:
1. Initial assessment and evaluation to determine the students goals, struggles and interests
2. Targeted goal setting: we set long term and short term goals to create a roadmap for progress
3. Instructions and practice with scaffolding: I deliver content through guiding questions and use active recall, spaced repetition and error analysis to help students gain new skills
4. Feedback: I take students seriously and try to help them where they think they need the most help
5. Adaptation and Progress monitoring: I individualize each students progress and continually adjust based on needs.
