About Will
I've always taken the approach that learning math is easier when it can be made fun and interesting. We will draw lots of pictures, build lots of intuition, and avoid memorizing things as much as possible.
I've previously tutored significantly at the middle and high school levels, as well as spending a few years teaching introductory Calculus and Statistics at a large public university.

Learning is a process and can be made a great deal easier with someone to ask and answer your questions. Every lesson should be slightly different because each student and each concept is different.
I can go backwards and re-teach a lesson to you; I can show you the tricks on how to become adept at a certain sort of calculation; I can connect what you are learning to what you have learned and what you will learn. What we do depends not only on what you need to get done but also who you are.
