About Phoebe
I am currently studying Mathematics at the University of St. Andrews, and have been tutoring students for several years in Maths, English and the sciences. I took the International Baccalaureate in sixth form which let me continue my studies of English, Maths, Computer Science and Physics. I have had experience tutoring GCSE students, A level students and IB students so I’m quite familiar with helping students prepare for a range of exams!

My teaching method (especially for mathematics) is to split a session into two key parts: in the first we cover any of the theory or background knowledge of a part of the course the student is struggling with; in the second we focus on creating broad techniques and approaches to exam questions on this topic and work through some examples together.
