About James
I am interested in maths because it is such a broad subject that can lead you into anything. I intend to become an accountant at the end of my degree, however I haven't decided for certain yet so it helps to keep your options open. Sometimes my lessons come across a little blunt, however I try to keep it light and entertaining. I am also quite good at figuring out which bits are catching you out and providing alternate ways to look at it in order to help you understand.

My lessons tend to be very direct with details about a topic explained using example questions, after which the student is given questions to attempt for practice and consolidation purposes. This was effective for the two students that I spent a year during Sixth Form tutoring to pass their Maths exams. I would be willing to do any length lessons at any frequency during the holidays, and I am happy to find slots to tutor during term time also.
