About Eliana

My passion for mathematics grew from an early fascination with patterns, logic, and structured thinking. This led me to pursue an M.Sc in Mathematics, where I developed deep analytical skills and problem-solving expertise. Over 13 years of teaching, I have supported learners of all levels in rebuilding foundations and developing lasting confidence. I believe effective teaching requires patience, empathy, and adaptability. Many students struggle due to gaps in earlier learning or lack of confidence. I take time to understand each learner’s challenges and address them carefully, ensuring they feel supported rather than rushed. I encourage questions, discussion, and independent reasoning. Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring mathematical models and real-world applications. Teaching mathematics is deeply rewarding because I see learners move from self-doubt to confidence. Helping students trust their reasoning and succeed through understanding is one of the most fulfilling aspects of my work.

About the lesson

Mathematics becomes enjoyable and manageable when learners understand the reasoning behind methods rather than memorizing steps mechanically. My lessons focus on algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, statistics, and applied problem-solving, taught through structured explanation and logical progression. I help students see how concepts connect, building clarity and confidence step by step.

Lesson structure is carefully tailored to each learner’s level. Beginners focus on number sense, algebraic foundations, and simple reasoning strategies. Intermediate learners strengthen skills in equations, graphs, probability, and multi-step problem-solving. Advanced learners explore calculus, complex applications, and exam-focused techniques. Each lesson includes guided practice, feedback, and error analysis to reinforce understanding.

Mathematics lessons also develop discipline, patience, and analytical thinking across subjects. As learners gain confidence, they become more comfortable tackling unfamiliar problems independently. My goal is to help students replace anxiety with understanding and develop a strong, positive relationship with mathematics.
