About Kristin
My name is Kristin and I am from South Florida. I received my Associates Agree from Broward College and HS diploma from College Academy at Broward College in 2019. I am now at a liberal arts school named Pomona College working on my Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, intended to graduate in Spring 2023. I have tutored students in math from 2018 till now.
My previous/current tutoring jobs:
- Broward County Libraries tutoring with K-8
- Pomona College's Academy for Youth Success with High School Students (math and college prep)
- Mentor/Grader in college classes such as Combinatorics, Calculus (1,2,3), and Differential Equations

Here's a little bit about how I tutor:
- I am very patient, especially when it comes to harder math skills
- I like to start from the very beginning and use easier math concepts/examples to understand the harder ones
- I like to meet students at where there at, so if you don't understand something we will work on it together
- For SAT/ACT tutoring I use applications such as Khan academy and prep books
- My teaching is very flexible, I adapt to how the students likes to learn
