About April
My name is April Foster. I have been a community college mathematics instructor and local one-on-one tutor for over 25 years!! I have a unique ability to get through to most students and help them succeed in their mathematics courses.
I have taught college level Statistics, Trigonometry, College Mathematics, Math for Liberal Arts (Elementary School Teacher requirement), Algebra I & II, Pre-Algebra, and Elementary School Math for grades K - 7.
I have a passion for helping all students succeed in mathematics. Most students are trying to complete other life goals and math seems to be in the way. Let me help you to get through math so you can succeed in all your goals!!

My number one priority is helping you achieve your goals, whether that be a good grade in your class, or improving your math skills. Usually that entails the following:
- Determine what homework, assignments need to be completed first to gain most points. We will work to complete these in a timely manner.
- Studying for any upcoming quizzes, exams, mid-terms. and finals. The goal will be to prepare you for performing well on these tests.
- I will work to diagnose and improve any particular skills that are missing that are preventing you from performing well in your math courses.
- I work with all levels of students, from elementary to college level.
