About Renee

My passion for mathematics began with a curiosity about patterns, structures, and logical relationships. This inspired me to pursue a B.Sc in Mathematics followed by an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics. Over 12 years, I have helped learners of all ages transform uncertainty into understanding, developing their skills, confidence, and curiosity in problem-solving.

I teach through clarity, interactive explanations, and relatable examples. Lessons incorporate step-by-step demonstrations, visual aids, and real-world applications to make abstract concepts tangible. I encourage students to ask questions, think independently, and explore multiple solution paths, nurturing both understanding and intellectual confidence.

Beyond teaching, I engage with mathematics through research, applied projects, and analytical challenges that inform my lessons with current examples and practical insights. Watching students develop competence, independence, and enjoyment in mathematics is deeply rewarding. My mission is to guide learners toward mastery, logical thinking, and a genuine appreciation for the power and beauty of mathematical reasoning.

About the lesson

Mathematics is more than numbers and formulas; it’s a structured language of logic, patterns, and problem-solving. My lessons are designed to make abstract concepts tangible, engaging, and applicable. I cover algebra, calculus, geometry, probability, and statistics, guiding students to build both conceptual understanding and procedural fluency. Each session combines interactive problem-solving, real-life examples, and conceptual discussions to develop clarity, confidence, and reasoning skills. Students are encouraged to explore multiple strategies, ask questions, and develop a flexible mathematical mindset that supports learning across subjects.

Lesson plans are tailored to each student’s level. Beginners focus on arithmetic, foundational algebra, and geometric reasoning to build understanding and confidence. Intermediate learners develop skills in calculus, functions, multi-step problem-solving, and statistical interpretation. Advanced learners explore integrals, differential equations, combinatorics, probability, and complex analytical challenges. Each lesson balances explanation, guided practice, and application, ensuring students develop a thorough understanding while building resilience and independent thinking.
