Peter was hardworking, explained every question with detail and made sure I understood everything in-depth which allowed me to problem solve effectively and ensured I could answer more advanced questions. The 2019 A Level maths papers were conveyed as very challenging in the media and I found that Peter prepared me excellently for that level of difficulty.

Peter tutored me for A level maths, a subject that I did not excel in. Unlike many subject teachers, Peter tutored me with an approach that never made me feel useless, and instead gave me the confidence I needed to pass a level maths. As a maths tutor, he taught the logic behind the method, as opposed to just the method and equations, making me understand the subject rather than just being able to recite an equation. Not only this but Peter made maths fun, and left me wanting to keep going after he had left. Peter was reliable, and never cancelled a tuition session. I could not recommend a tutor any more highly.

Throughout my academic career, I have had a variety of tutors, especially for my maths. I can truly say Peter was a fantastic tutor. He immediately identified weaknesses in my knowledge, truly simplifying complex topics to a level my school teachers were unable to do. The progression I made within a couple months was amazing, as Peter was supportive at all times. He was constantly communicating with my parents, outlining my progress aswell as identifying not only where my weaknesses still are, but how I can improve. He truly motivated me to reach my potential, as I never envisaged achieving as high as I did. Studying on the OCR MEI exam board had its complications, but Peter ensured I saw past and overcame such problems.

Peter only began tutoring my daughter in January when we were told by her school that they were concerned she wouldn't reach the minimum grade 4 pass in Maths. She passed her GCSE with a Grade 5! Peter immediately installed a belief in my daughter that she would succeed with his calm, patient and supportive approach. His lessons were structured and well thought out for my daughter's needs. A rewarding mix of lots of hard work but laughter too!! I would highly recommend Peter to tutor at any level of Maths required.

Peter was a fabulous tutor. He was punctual and never cancelled any sessions. He came prepared with work for my daughter and was also aware of the new GCSE syllabus. He developed a good relationship with her which allowed her to grow in confidence. I would highly recommend Peter.

Peter is an excellent tutor. He is young and enthusiastic and knows his subject well. Both my boys struggled with Maths concepts but Peter made them easy to understand. He is a conscientious and polite (always punctual) and someone my boys really related to. Both passed their Maths GCSE and one achieved a grade A! I cannot recommend Peter highly enough.

Peter has shown himself to be a clear and dedicated personal tutor which was apparent when he helped me revise areas of C3 and C4 in June 2017 in preparation for my important upcoming exams. He did this by asking me which areas I found the most challenging, testing me on them and then coming up with a worked solution until I could reproduce the answers, which I find an effective way of learning. One of the areas which I found more challenging, construction of differential equations for rates of change by translating English into Maths, came up in the C4 exam. However because of the practise we had undergone together I was able to answer it with ease, I am very happy as that could have cost me my A* in Maths!

Peter was an absolutely brilliant and first class maths A levels tutor to my daughter. Peter tutored her for 4 hours a week. He was professional, extremely knowledgeable about the subject matter, punctual, and reliable. Peter is calm with a very pleasant teaching style which brought out the best in my daughter resulting in a B grade in her maths A level. His explanations were clear, and easy to follow. He is not a clock watcher and generally completes a lesson when the question has been fully explained. We are extremely pleased with his high standard of work and was very fortunate to have Peter as my daughter's tutor.

Peter has been a tremendous tutor for me, helping me in areas of maths I have struggled in, and his help enabled me to achieve above and beyond what I expected in A-level maths. I would highly recommend Peter as he is friendly and helpful.

Peter was my undergraduate tutee from September 2014 to June 2016, the 2nd and 3rd years of his BSc Mathematics degree. Peter graduated in July 2016 with a 2.1 degree, including excellent marks in Multivariable and Vector Analysis (92%), Numerical Methods and Programming (85%) and Real and Complex Analysis (78%).

I had most contact with Peter during his second year. During weekly tutorials, Peter would enthusiastically take part in problem solving and present written solutions on the blackboard. He is a good mathematician and has excellent communication skills - in particular he is calm, patient and methodical, vital aspects of conveying mathematics. I also taught him Numerical Methods and Programming that year - again his work in group computer lab sessions was excellent.

Peter is a very pleasant and agreeable person - I found him very easy to deal with as a tutee, and we have had some very interesting discussions about careers and further study. He was clearly well-liked by his peers and I believe that other students would look to him for help with their work in the group study space.

I believe Peter will make a very good tutor. He has the right balance of excellent communication, a calm and pleasant manner, and strong mathematical ability.
