About Katherine
Studying mathematics as a subject is not easy. It is a complex subject that requires effort and ambition to excel. Some students, my past self included, can lose motivation if mathematical concepts are not understood right away. But with persistence, consistency and making learning fun, students can appreciate the subject and achieve the grades they deserve.

From personal experience, I have found that learning mathematics requires consistency and confidence. For students to properly grasp the fundamental concepts, it is important to review those concepts consistently and have confidence in one's approaches to answering questions.
A typical lesson:
- Reviewing previous lesson's concepts with questions/examples
- Introduction of new concept using visual aids (such as graphs or drawings)
- Active learning: student participates in discussion and problem solving
- Discussing the week's completed homework and go through incorrectly answered questions together
These lessons are aimed at students from the ages of 6-18 who are looking to learn mathematics at a slower pace to ensure full understanding and confidence in their knowledge.
