About Qeren
Hello! I’m Qeren, a Mathematics Graduate and Actuarial Science student at the University of Amsterdam, with a genuine passion for making mathematics clear, practical, and less intimidating.
I understand that maths can sometimes feel overwhelming, so I focus on breaking down difficult ideas into simple, logical steps. My lessons are structured, interactive, and adapted to your individual learning style—whether you need help preparing for an exam, improving your grades, or building stronger foundations and confidence.
As a fluent English and French speaker, I can support students in either language. Beyond finding the right answer, I will help you understand the why behind each method, develop effective problem-solving strategies, and become more independent in your learning.

As a Mathematics graduate and current Actuarial Science student at the University of Amsterdam, I bring a strong academic foundation and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching.
I am fluent in both English and French, enabling me to support students from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
I believe that every student can succeed in mathematics with the right guidance and encouragement. My goal is not only to help students solve problems, but also to build their confidence, logical reasoning, and independent-thinking skills.
I tailor each lesson to the student’s learning style, making mathematics clear, engaging, and practical.
I teach mathematics at all levels, from Grade 1 through undergraduate university courses.
I explain concepts in different ways until the student understands them clearly.
I adapt every lesson to the student’s individual pace and learning needs.
I encourage students to reason through problems independently rather than memorising solutions.
I focus on building confidence alongside improving mathematical skills and grades.
