About Zoran
I hold a BSc and MSc in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, with over 30 years of experience working in technical and management roles on business-critical projects across technology, telecommunications, and banking sectors.
Based on this background and strong university-level mathematics, I have developed a structured approach to learning Mathematics Extension 1 and Extension 2 that goes beyond traditional tutoring.
In my experience, students do not struggle due to lack of ability, but because they:
• do not know how to learn mathematics independently
• cannot apply knowledge to unfamiliar problems
• lose performance under HSC exam conditions
My work focuses on addressing these issues through a structured, feedback-controlled learning system, applying an engineering-style approach to learning where progress is continuously measured and refined.

This is not standard tutoring. It is a structured system where each student’s understanding is assessed, gaps are identified, and progress is continuously improved.
Sessions follow school topics but go deeper, with a focus on:
• problem-solving
• structured reasoning
• HSC-style exam questions
Each lesson typically includes:
• a short diagnostic check
• targeted concept reinforcement
• extension-level problem solving
• timed exam-style questions
• clear feedback and aligned homework
Sessions are usually 1.5–2 hours (recommended for Extension students).
Students can join at any stage. An initial assessment determines their level, followed by a structured learning pathway aligned with their school program.
Progress is structured, measurable, and continuously monitored, with a clear objective: strong HSC performance and preparation for further study.
