About Poonam
My interest in mathematics started with a strong fascination for numbers and logical patterns. This led me to pursue a PhD in Mathematics, where I developed a deep understanding of problem solving and analytical thinking. Over the past 12 years, I have worked with students from different levels, helping them overcome challenges and build confidence in mathematics. My experience has allowed me to guide students with patience and clarity.
I believe that mathematics can be enjoyable when taught in a simple and structured way. My teaching style focuses on breaking down complex ideas into smaller steps and using clear explanations. I provide regular practice and encourage students to ask questions and think independently. This helps them build confidence and develop a deeper understanding of concepts.
Outside teaching, I enjoy solving mathematical problems and exploring new methods to improve learning. This helps me keep my lessons effective and engaging. Teaching mathematics is rewarding because I get to see students grow from confusion to confidence. Helping them develop strong thinking skills and a positive attitude towards learning is something I truly value.

I guide students step by step so they can understand how each concept works. I use practical examples and structured methods to make learning smooth and comfortable. Each session is designed to reduce confusion and build confidence, allowing students to ask questions freely and learn at their own pace.
As students improve, lessons become more focused on solving complex problems and improving accuracy. Beginners start with basic operations and simple concepts. Intermediate learners work on multi-step problems and logical reasoning. Advanced learners focus on higher-level problem solving, speed, and exam strategies. I provide regular practice, feedback, and revision to ensure steady improvement. This structured approach helps students build confidence and handle challenging questions effectively.
Mathematics also helps students develop critical thinking, patience, and analytical skills. As they progress, they begin to approach problems with clarity and confidence.
