About Ruchi

I have been fascinated by patterns, problem-solving, and logical reasoning from a young age. I earned a B.Sc in Mathematics and an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics, focusing on algebra, geometry, and applied problem-solving. Over 7 years, I have guided students across levels, from elementary school math to middle school math, advanced algebra, geometry, and SAT math, emphasizing clarity, structure, and confidence-building. I tailor lessons to each learner’s pace, using visual aids, analogies, and stepwise guidance. Beginners build foundational skills, intermediate learners develop reasoning strategies, and advanced students tackle challenging SAT-style problems. I encourage curiosity, consistent practice, and independent thinking, creating a supportive and motivating learning environment. Outside teaching, I explore real-world applications, creative problem-solving methods, and exam strategies to enhance lessons. Watching students transform from uncertainty to confidence, mastering complex concepts, and enjoying math is deeply rewarding and drives my continued dedication.

My lessons emphasize conceptual clarity, logical reasoning, and structured practice. Beginners focus on arithmetic, number sense, and simple problem-solving exercises. Intermediate learners tackle multi-step algebraic equations, geometric relationships, fractions, and word problems. Advanced students prepare for SAT math, study coordinate geometry, functions, and higher-order algebraic challenges. Each session integrates interactive exercises, examples, and guided reasoning to build confidence, mastery, and independent problem-solving skills.

Lesson pacing is tailored to each student. Beginners receive patient explanation, visual support, and structured exercises. Intermediate learners apply reasoning strategies to solve complex problems. Advanced learners focus on SAT-style challenges, advanced algebra, and geometry, with detailed feedback and problem-solving discussions.
