About Angelica
Mathematics has always come naturally to me! Throughout my undergraduate degree I quickly learned that teaching was something I was passionate about, I began helping my fellow classmates with difficult concepts, then move to tutoring highschool students out of a learning center. I am passionate about empowering students to take their learning into their own hands.
The one-on-one experience allows students to have an individual approach to learning and work at the pace that's most suited for them!

Focusing on core concepts and the foundations, its important for students to understand WHY they are doing what they are doing and not just memorizing how to get to the final answer.
Lessons always involve basics, more complex cases, word problems, as well as thinking.
Leaving room for homework questions to work through together first then the students will take the lead.
Lessons are for highschool students grades 9-12.
