I am a current student at UCT studying a Bsc in Mathematics and Statistics. I have a passion for maths and believe if a student is taught correctly in a way they can grasp the concepts, maths really is for everyone.

My methodology is I initially decide the best student specific approach. I will generally generally teach a concept per lesson and start the next lesson with a short recap or quiz to ensure the student understood the concept clearly before progressing. Whilst I strengthen the students mathematical background I will ensure they are keeping up to date with current homework whilst we work on concepts to further improve their understanding. I provide my students with many past papers, teach them to summarize and approach maths with optimism and confidence in their abilities.
