About Izzudin
Hi! I’m passionate about teaching mathematics - not just helping students solve problems, but also building their thinking toolbox so they can approach challenges with confidence. I always prioritise students’ individual needs, adapting my pace and style to support them in the way that works best. Outside of maths, I love being creative. At university, I was the music director for a student play, where I composed parts of varying difficulty and styles tailored to the strengths of each player in my division. I also have experience with music technology, which I used to create trailers for student productions. These projects allowed me to combine technical precision with artistic expression, much like my approach to teaching!

I work with each student individually, starting from what they already know and helping them build deep understanding from the ground up—focusing on why concepts work, not just what to do. Lessons are typically 1 hour and tailored to GCSE and A-Level students. I have a range of tutoring experience, with my favourite being the AMSP Problem Solving Matters programme, where I helped Year 12 students prepare for university entrance exams like the MAT and TMUA. As a Mathematics and Statistics graduate from Imperial College London, I aim to develop confident, independent thinkers!
