About Thelma
I am a qualified Mathematics and Sciences educator. I have coaching and mentoring of teachers in South African schools. I have done teacher training in the subjects of Mathematics and Physical Sciences. I have also trained learners in Mathematics and Physical Sciences from Primary school to High school.

I am a proponent of learner centred instruction eg using flipped classroom method. But where the situation demands I also use direct instruction to clear up misconceptions. Mathematics is best understood through doing, so I get the learners to do as many examples as possible from past examination papers so as to get practice on what they will face in the actual exam.
