About Kevida

Although I am a student myself, the adequacy of my ability to instruct is exemplary. I am able to relate to and understand students better because of my status. I have taken and performed well on many of the standards tests that are suggested/required for students and can therefore provide insight on what I did successfully and what I would change.

About the lesson

As a tutor, I use multiple styles of teaching tailored to each specific student. These styles collectively encompass inquiry-based learning with real-world application, creation, self-directed inquiry, and more. Although I have been successful in my studies, my interdisciplinary way of learning/studying through high school would not have been successful without the aspects mentioned above.

I start every session with mindfulness. Asking questions about the well-being of my students, as well as what they would like to accomplish during the session. I believe that students should have a say in how he/she learns. This is why we work together to create the most beneficial plan for them. Comfortability fosters creativity and knowledge.

As of now, my tutoring is more geared toward high school students, nevertheless, I would be more than willing to tutor middle school students. The courses I tutor include algebra ( 1 and 2), Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and other higher-level math courses such as AP Calculus and AP statistics. I also tutor science courses such as Biology, Chemistry, and their higher-level counterparts (AP Biology, AP Chemistry).
