About Carla

I am a visual artist specializing in technological and media art, and a graduate of the Universidad Nacional de Colombia.

The type of art I create always requires a foundation in mathematics and physics, acquired in school, to solve technical problems by understanding the underlying principles. Combining this everyday application with my experience in academic support allows me to develop a methodology based on each student's individual strengths and characteristics.

A hallmark of my teaching approach is revisiting or reviewing prior knowledge to gradually progress to more complex concepts. The goal is to address the current learning needs while building upon the foundational principles that will enable students to grasp the more complex issues that may arise.

About the lesson

Personalized math and physics tutoring for middle and high school students.

In my technological artwork, I use math and physics as a foundation for creating visuals and virtual spaces. My everyday use of this knowledge, combined with my experience tutoring, allows me to tailor my teaching methods to each student's needs and learning style (visual, logical, or other).

My goal isn't for you to memorize formulas or processes, but rather to understand the logic behind them. A solid grasp of the fundamentals makes more complex topics much easier to understand.

My tutoring options include:
- Academic support
- Exam preparation
- Fundamentals review
- University entrance exam preparation
- Remedial classes
