About Kayden
I believe that every student has the capability to learn anything they desire, no matter how far behind they are or what limitations they may have. I was an advanced student growing up so I went through math classes faster than my peers. Despite this I always keep in mind that easy for me is not always easy for someone else. Because of this it wasn't uncommon for me to help my peers throughout grade school understand the material that I had already done. I also have some experience in tutoring children with mental disabilities such as being nonverbal or unable to focus for long periods of time. I do not claim to be a perfect teacher but I do believe that I can aid most students in understanding their class work better and I can do it in a patient and understanding way that doesn't blame the student for any shortcomings.

Do you like learning about how math works and why things are done a certain way? Are you a student that is struggling with math? Or maybe you're pretty good at math but you have specific struggles like understanding story problems? I'm Kayden and even though I have studied advanced mathematics I still remember what it was like trying to learn a lot of the difficult concepts that I had to apply throughout my mathematics studies. My aim as a tutor is to meet students where they are at and build upon their understanding so that they can truly understand what they are doing and improve their skills. I can teach anything from fractions to 3D surface area to integrals so i can comfortably teach any math curriculum up to the early college level. I can also teach general physics up to the high school level and help connect the vague concepts learned in class to the amazing ways that we can apply these concepts and formulas in real life.
