About Rebecca
I am a mathematics and economics student at University. Though I haven't been paid for any tutoring before, I have helped students achieve a 9 predicted at GCSE and helped struggling students pass in sixth form (both A levels and IB). I studied maths, economics and physics in sixth form, achieving high grades in all three. I also was tutored myself for the 11+ and passed.

I will give both individual and group lessons in mathematics, physics and economics from year 7 up to A level (or IB) as well as 11+ tutoring for those in primary school. How I teach varies subject to subject and by how long I have till the exams. If I have a short amount of time I will work primarily where the student says they struggle but if I have a long time I will cover the entire syllabus comprehensively. I am a strong believer in learning by doing so I will go through plenty of practice questions with the student (and will give homework dependent on the student's existing workload). I have also found that the most important factor in learning these subjects is understanding (rather than just knowing or memorising) so I find different ways of explaining concepts until they get that light bulb moment.
