About Jessica
I am a current Senior at Salem College, Winston-Salem, NC. I am a Chemistry and Biochemistry Double Degree student (BA/BS) with a minor in Mathematics. I have previously peer tutored before at Surry Community College while obtaining an Associates in Science there. I have also spent most of my life playing competitive high school and college softball as well and can help other students understand and balance the athlete student schedule.

As I am a student as well, I like to approach other students and peers when tutoring from the perspective of a student. I am able to relate to questions that another student may not feel comfortable asking their teacher. I offer many different ways about how to approach any problem or question so that the student may be able to determine which technique works best for them and not just for myself. I teach at the pace that the student needs and let them help to determine and direct my approach to the subject.

Details
If a student would like to meet in a secondary location, the fee for traveling will increase the hourly rate by $5 according to distance. I am local to King, NC and can travel for $5. Traveling options to Winston-Salem will increase the hourly rate by $10. I offer virtual tutoring options as well.
