About Omid

I have had the privilege of teaching a diverse range of students, from young learners struggling with basic concepts like 2 + 2 = 4, to Olympiad students who have won gold medals in international competitions. My students have included everyone from housewives returning to university to engineers preparing for their Master's entrance exams. I understand the unique needs of various individuals and their families. I have a passion for mathematics and a genuine love for teaching. I believe that no one should feel inadequate in math; it is a beautiful subject, and I am dedicated to showing you its beauty.

About the lesson

I have a strong foundation in Mathematics and believe that many textbooks, including my own, are designed to ensure that every student can understand the material. I have experienced, both personally and through my students, that a negative first encounter with a problem can make it challenging to solve. My Teaching Approach: 1. Diverse Perspectives: I help students view problems from different angles, which enhances their understanding. 2. Structured Lessons: In each class, I begin with a simple question related to the day's topic. I then present a challenging problem, promising that we will solve it by the end of the lesson. 3. Step-by-Step Learning: - I explain the theory behind the topic. - I solve an example problem. - I provide easy examples for students to tackle on their own. - I then work through more complex examples, highlighting key points to notice. - Students attempt moderate examples, and I monitor their progress. If they encounter difficulties, I refer them back to previously solved problems to reinforce their learning. 4. Encouragement and Support: I strive to create a calm environment where students don't feel nervous. When we finally solve the promised challenging problem, I do so in an engaging manner, ensuring to explain each part of the solution clearly, so I can see their smiles as they grasp the concepts. Philosophy: While students are not required to solve hard problems in school or even at prestigious universities during exams, I believe that if a student can understand the solutions to difficult problems, they will find it much easier to tackle easy and moderate problems.
