About Vedant
I have a master’s degree in mathematical physics from the University of Edinburgh and I am a data analyst with the civil service. Tutoring is my hobby, I love helping students develop a deeper understanding of mathematics and physics. I started private tutoring 3 years ago when I worked at Kumon, helping the highest level maths students understand the solution manuals. I have helped students who hated physics and maths achieve A’s and I’ve supported those who love the subjects grow their talents. Whatever your goals, if they involve mathematics or physics I am here to help. At University, I was involved with a peer-mentoring scheme which involved helping 1st and 2nd year students become more independent with their work. I have also helped a few friends and family navigate their exams and improve their maths and physics knowledge.

I love Maths and Physics, I am patient and committed; these attributes reflect in my lessons. I expand existing interests and introduce new topics, encouraging self-study and individual research; key skills for higher level education. Exam strategy and study techniques play a key part in my lessons, ensuring that learning translates to exam performance. I like helping students through questions that may be troubling them or concepts which they are struggling to understand.

Vedant is reliable and when contacted he always responds quickly. He is also flexible when it comes to tuition times and days. We have been using Vedant for over a year now.
Vedant has been tutoring my daughter for almost 2 years now , in person to begin with and now online . He tries to make maths fun for children, as it is often one of those subjects, you either love or hate. I have seen a steady progress in my daughters maths grades since Vedant started tutoring her . I would definitely recommend him if you are looking for a maths tutor for your child who is patient and tries to make maths fun to learn .
