About AASHMUKI
I am an educator of deaf learners, teaching the regular CAPS curriculum through the medium of South African Sign Language. I find unique and creative methods because I teach special children who need lots of patience and innovation. I have 25 years of experience unfolding a variety of learning areas, but mostly Mathematics, to deaf learners in high school, up to grade 12. I have marked grade 12 NSC examinations and attended professional development workshops frequently.

I teach slowly, repeat information frequently and fill in any necessary "gaps" or pre-knowledge requirements while teaching. I allow for a variety of responses and show learners how they will earn marks for the different levels of questions. I am patient.
