About the lesson

I’m a Maths tutor with over 7 years of experience and a MSc in Computational Mathematics. I specialize in helping students from non-STEM backgrounds see the beauty and relevance of advanced mathematical concepts. My focus is on understanding the ideas behind the math, rather than drowning in heavy computation.

I use everyday analogies to make abstract concepts relatable. I also bring in historical context, sharing the stories behind key discoveries, which helps students connect with the subject on a deeper level. My lessons highlight the big ideas behind complex theories, showing how math explains patterns in the world around us.

Many of my students are liberal arts students, humanities scholars, or individuals who have struggled with math in the past. I work closely with them to overcome anxiety and build confidence, step by step. Together, we explore math as a universal language that connects ideas across disciplines.
