About Katharina
I am a student of computer science at the University of Paderborn. There, I have given several tutorials for university students and I also got a training on giving tutorials. During my school years, I tutored many students in various subjects, mainly in Math and English. Over the years I tutored students from all grades from 5th to 13th.

I try to adapt my teaching method to you so that you benefit the most. Usually, I structured the lessons in the following way:
First we looked at current homework or exams. If there are any problems, I will explain what you do not understand or what you need to know for the task. Then I will let you solve one or more examples. Alternatively, we address specific topics that you know you have problems with or need to catch up on. I will explain the important rules for you (depending on the complexity, I will create a "how to"-sheet that you can stick to in order to solve such tasks). Then I will let you solve a few tasks to see whether you understood the explanation. These can be tasks from your school books or old class assignments, but I can also create suitable tasks - just as you like.

Perfect! Katharina ist eine ganz ganz wunderbare und geduldige Tutorin. Sie konnte mir problemlos auch sehr schwierige Inhalte aus meinem Informatik-Mathekurs an der Uni erklären. Die wöchentlichen Aufgabenblätter hatte sie sich dabei immer schon vorher angeschaut, damit sie mir dadurch noch gezielter Hilfestellungen und Feedback geben konnte (was für mich alles andere als selbstverständlich war) und hat mich weiterhin umfangreich auf meine (Modul-)Abschlussprüfung vorbereitet, sodass ich diese mit einer -für mich- unglaublich guten Note bestehen konnte!
11/10 über alle Maßen engagierte und tolle Nachhilfelehrerin, ich könnte nicht zufriedener sein!View more reviews
