About Sofya
I am currently a student at Hunter College. As of now in college, I have taken Algebra 1 and 2, pre-Calculus, and Calculus. I have also taken geometry and statistics in high school. Throughout high school, I tutored elementary school kids, worked as a counselor at JCH afterschool program with children ages 8-13, and tutored my high school's football players that were falling behind in mathematics. I speak English and Russian language fluently.

I have worked as a tutor before. Typically, I would help my clients complete their math assignments and then, with my assistance, do extra sets of practice questions based on various textbooks and online sources. I am a very hands-on person, so I will draw out problems and write them in explicit detail. Questions are always welcomed by me! In general, math courses are stressful enough, so I try and keep the study environment relaxed and comfortable.
