With over 30 years of teaching experience, I help students develop true understanding—not just memorize formulas. My approach is patient, structured, and tailored to each student’s needs. Whether you are struggling with the basics or preparing for a major exam, I guide you step-by-step so math becomes clear, manageable, and even enjoyable.

About the lesson

- I focus on clear and simple explanations of concepts before moving to practice, step-by-step problem solving, use of visual aids and real-life examples
- Review of previous material (5 minutes), explanation of New Topic (10–15 minutes), clear theory, illustrated with examples, guided practice (15–20 minutes), where we solve problems together (I teach strategies, shortcuts, and logical reasoning), independent practice (10–15 minutes), summary & homework plan (5 minutes)
- Over 30 years of teaching experience with students of all ages—elementary, middle school, high school, and college, understanding of different learning styles, especially for students who struggle with math anxiety or gaps in fundamentals, test preparation expertise for SHSAT, SAT, ACT, Regents, State Exams, and placement tests
- Elementary, Middle and High School students, College students, students preparing for different exams, students who need extra support, advanced students
