About Danika
Hi! My name is Dani, and I’m a student who majors in math. I’m also a part of my school’s math club, where I get to work with other students and help make math more enjoyable and easier to understand.
I’ve always enjoyed working through math problems and finding different ways to explain concepts when someone is having trouble understanding them. I know that everyone learns differently, so I’m patient and willing to explain something in multiple ways until it makes sense.
As a tutor, I care more about making sure you truly understand the material than simply getting the correct answer. I want you to understand what you’re doing, why you’re doing it, and feel confident enough to solve similar problems on your own.
Whether you need help with homework, a topic you’re struggling with, or extra practice, I’ll work at your pace and make sure we don’t move on until you genuinely feel comfortable with the material.

My lessons are focused on making sure you actually understand what you are doing, instead of just getting the right answer and immediately moving on. I like to go step-by-step and explain things in different ways if something doesn’t make sense.
I will take my time with each topic and make sure you feel comfortable with it before moving on to something new. If you get one question right, that doesn’t automatically mean we’re done with the topic. I want to make sure you understand why you got the answer and that you can do it on your own.
I can help with homework, practice problems, reviewing topics you’re struggling with, and breaking down confusing math problems into easier steps. My goal is for you to leave each lesson feeling like, “Okay, I actually understand this now.”
