About Briyana

I’m a Grade 10 IB student with a strong passion for math and learning. I enjoy subjects like trigonometry, algebra, and functions, and I like breaking down concepts so they actually make sense. I also play volleyball, which has taught me discipline, teamwork, and focus. I enjoy working with kids and helping them build confidence in math, whether they are just starting out or in high school.

I believe it’s best to learn by understanding, not memorizing, so I focus on helping students actually understand why methods work instead of just repeating steps. I tutor students ages 3–17 and try to keep a patient, supportive, and easy-going approach. My goal is to make math less stressful and more understandable while building strong long-term skills.

About the lesson

My tutoring sessions are designed to be clear, structured, and supportive so students can actually understand math instead of just memorizing steps. I start by identifying what the student is struggling with, then break the topic down into simple, easy-to-follow parts. I use step-by-step explanations and guided practice so they build confidence as we go.
I specialize in trigonometry, algebra, functions, and basic math, and I adjust my teaching style depending on the student’s age and learning level. For younger students, I focus on building strong foundational skills through interactive and patient instruction. For older students, I help with more advanced problem-solving, homework support, and test preparation.
During lessons, I encourage questions and make sure students fully understand each concept before moving on. My goal is not just to help with assignments, but to strengthen overall math skills and improve long-term confidence. I tutor students ages 3–17 and keep my sessions calm, focused, and easy to follow.
