About Peter
I'm an experienced mathematics tutor. I have a degree in mathematics from University of California at Santa Cruz and I taught statistical reasoning there for seven years. I also have a master's degree in computer engineering from the USC Viterbi School and I spent 30 years as an engineer and senior manager in the software industry developing mathematical software for various applications. I have been tutoring online for eight years. I have experience working with a range of students from students who are struggling or have learning disabilities, to students looking for advanced material or math olympiad training, and I have worked with students from elementary school to college undergraduate level. I specialize in working with students that have developed math anxiety or are having challenges in math.
