About Taylor
I was a high school and middle school math teacher for 11 years, an instructional coach for math teachers for a year, and I've been a curriculum and assessment writer for 5 years. My students routinely scored in the top 1% on state math tests for both growth and achievement, so they learned a lot and scored high! I was the first teacher to be recognized on our Wall of Fame for my outstanding student achievement.
I'm a subject matter expert in math. As a student, I earned perfect scores on the Math SAT and on the AP BC Calculus Exam. I placed in the Top 100 on the North Carolina State Math Competition, and participated in several national competitions. As a teacher, I was recognized with the Award of Excellence by placing in the top 10% of all teachers on my certification exam.
The subject of math, and teaching it to students is a unique passion and talent of mine. I'd love to help you learn!

As a curriculum and test writer, I'm familiar with the rigor and nuance expected from quizzes and exams. To ensure learning, I start small and gradually build up to more challenging problems.
