About Ryan
I have a degree in Criminal Justice with a focus on Homeland Security. WOW why is he teaching math you might ask? I love working with kids, teaching, and math! I helped teach math back in high school and college and absolutely loved it. I know I don't have a teaching degree, but take a chance and I hope to exceed your expectations!

Each person approaches math differently, that's for sure! I take math one step at a time. One problem at a time, (literally, I love puns!) and break the problems down into simple steps. By breaking the problems down into steps it becomes much more understandable. Repetition is key. I don't think it best when kids cram cram cram for a test and then forget everything the second the test is done. When tests are compounded, each test builds upon the previous and if kids don't actually take the time to learn it, and really understand it, it's pointlessness!

Up until this point, I have never charged for my services. I've always helped out friends, fellow classmates, and kids who ask for help. I'm willing to work with you and am already starting out my rate much lower than others. If you find that I'm not the best teacher for you there aren't any commitments!
