About Lauren
I have a cumulative 5 years experience as a tutor and I do it because I love it. I studied Applied Ecology in undergrad and double minored in Mathematics and Statistics (I couldn't pick just one!) and I have my master's degree in Ecosystem Ecology. While getting my master's, I spent two and a half years teaching Biology labs to both science and non-science focused students. Wherever your current understanding is, I will be able to meet you there.

I know that in classrooms concepts are taught in only one way, and confusion comes when the explanation doesn't work for you. I am fascinated by the different ways of understanding math and science, and my goal is to find the one that works for you. I want you to feel heard in our sessions and if something doesn't work for you, I'll find you another method of understanding it. I specialize in assisting high school and college students, but am more than happy to work with middle school and non-traditional students as well.
