About Surbhi

Hello students!
I’m your math teacher, and I truly believe that math is not about memorizing formulas—it’s about understanding ideas and enjoying the process of solving problems. I love breaking down difficult concepts into simple, easy steps so that every student can feel confident and capable.
I want to share my knowledge because I know many students feel confused or even scared of math. I enjoy turning that fear into curiosity and confidence. When a student says, “Now I understand!”—that is the best part of teaching for me.

About the lesson

I focus on making math clear, visual, and confidence-building rather than just procedural. My teaching is structured around three key stages:

1. Concept First, Formula Later
Instead of starting with rules, I begin with real-life examples, visual models, and simple explanations so students truly understand why a concept works. This builds long-term retention and reduces fear of math.

2. Interactive & Student-Centered Learning
My sessions are not one-way lectures. I use questioning, mini challenges, and quick polls to keep students actively involved. Every class is designed to ensure the student thinks, responds, and participates continuously.

3. Step-by-Step Skill Building
I break complex problems into small, manageable steps. Students practice with guided examples first, then gradually move to independent problem-solving, ensuring strong foundational skills.

4. Visual & Digital Tools
I use online whiteboards, diagrams, color coding, and real-life illustrations (like money, shapes, or everyday situations) to make abstract ideas easy and engaging—especially for younger learners.

5. Personalized Learning Pace
Every student learns differently. I adjust the speed, difficulty level, and explanation style based on the student’s needs, ensuring no one feels rushed or left behind.

6. Exam-Focused Practice with Concept Clarity

7. Positive & Encouraging Environment
I create a safe space where students can ask questions freely, make mistakes, and grow without fear. My goal is not just better marks, but building a positive mindset towards math

Surbhi has lots of patience and explains every little topic calmly and solves doubt without any hesitation. My daughter used to score very less in her exams and was very poor in maths.
