About FJ

Though I am a computer engineer who dabbles in social sciences, I have been a tutor for diverse students ranging from business majors to social sciences to math majors to engineers. I have also tutored middle school students. Working with a variety of learners fuels and challenges me, as I strive to help those who need an extra boost. It's incredibly rewarding to identify and overcome learning blockages, changing lives daily as I see students succeed. My interests span languages, poetry, psychology, neural networks, and embedded systems. You will not regret using FJ as your tutor. He is smart, but able to explain things in a way that’s understandable. He’s resourceful and probably the most responsible person I know. He’s completely invested in everything he does and will probably lose sleep if your student isn’t doing well. I can’t recommend him highly enough!
