About Emmy
I am a math PhD student at a major research university in the United States. Between three years of teaching experience at my undergrad and two years of tutoring experience in undergrad, I have spent a substantial amount of time helping students understand concepts which, prior to our sessions, were incredibly confusing.

My lessons focus on questions students have and work they have to complete. Typically, students bring content they're struggling with, and to begin, I talk about the content and talk them through problems. As they become more comfortable with the material, we'll start working through problems together.
