About Siya

I’m a math major with over three years of tutoring experience. I focus on clear, supportive explanations that help students feel confident and comfortable while learning. My goal is to make math less intimidating and more approachable for every student.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is student-centered and concept-driven. I focus on helping students truly understand the “why” behind each concept rather than memorizing steps. I adapt my teaching style to each student’s learning pace, background, and goals, making sure they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as part of the learning process.

-Break complex topics into simple, logical steps
-Use real-world examples and visual explanations when possible
-Reinforce concepts through guided practice rather than passive listening
-Encourage students to explain concepts back to me to build confidence
-Emphasize problem-solving strategies and pattern recognition
