About Eddie
Hey! I’m Eddie Kurjak. I’m a math major at the University of Georgia. I’ve always loved helping people learn—not just get the right answers, but actually get it. I know how frustrating math can feel sometimes, so my goal is to keep things low-pressure, explain things in a way that makes sense, and work at your pace. Whether you're stuck on homework, prepping for a test, or just want to feel more confident, I’ve got your back. Let's make math make sense—together.

"The brain is a muscle, and we’ll be making some serious gains at tutoring!" My Approach as a Tutor: I believe that clarity, and connections are key to mastering math. My sessions are student-centered—meaning I try not to only lecture; I aim to ask questions, give real-life examples, and break down complex ideas into bite-sized steps. I use a blend of visual aids, problem walkthroughs, and active recall techniques to build deep understanding, not just short-term memory. A Typical Lesson Plan Includes: Quick Check-In: Review recent homework or tests and identify sticking points. Concept Breakdown: Teach or re-teach key concepts with examples and analogies. Practice Time: We solve problems together, then the student practices independently with support. Wrap-Up: Recap main takeaways and outline goals or light assignments before the next session. What I Believe Sets Me Apart: I want to bring the same discipline and focus I’ve gained as an NCAA athlete into my tutoring. I know how to motivate others, break down challenges into achievable goals, and adapt under pressure. I’m also patient, approachable, and genuinely enjoy helping students have those “lightbulb” moments. Who I Work With: Middle school to college-level students Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus Students preparing for tests, struggling with homework, or looking to deepen their understanding
