About Tanya
Hello! I'm someone who used to dislike math until the right teacher helped me finally understand and learn it the right way — and that completely changed the game for me. Since then, I've genuinely grown to love math, and I believe anyone can too... with the right explanation and a little bit of patience. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, and Computer Science, and I’ve completed two graduate programs — including one in Data Analytics. So math isn’t just something I teach, it’s something I’ve worked with in real-world settings too. Whether your child is struggling with basics or looking to boost their confidence before an exam, I tailor every session to fit their pace and style. I aim to create a space where they feel comfortable asking questions — no pressure, no judgment. Let’s make math feel a little less scary and a lot more manageable!

I teach math for Grades 6–10 and focus on making it feel less scary and more doable. I used to struggle with math too, until a great tutor helped me see it differently — and that changed everything. Now I love teaching it in a way that’s clear, patient, and focused on helping students actually understand the ‘why’ behind it. My lessons and timings are flexible and tailored to each student’s pace, and I’m always open to questions (no such thing as a silly one here!)
