About Krissa
I am a recent graduate from Westminster College with a degree in Mathematics. I have passions for data science, creative problem solving, and inclusivity in math education. I have tutored several students in a variety of topics, specializing in Common Core and college prep math. I am also avaiable to tutor math beyond that as well. My teaching approach begins at finding out where the student is starting from. I make sure to establish a solid base before introducing new methods, and like to steer students in the direction of self discovery of math. I like to show creative ways of thinking about problems so that when new and more complex ones are introduced, students are prepared!
