About Meagan
Meagan graduated Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Mathematics in 2019 and has been helping students feel more confident in math ever since. She tutors Algebra I through Calculus to learners at every age level, from elementary school through college.
Meagan was often frustrated with math in her K-12 days because she had many questions about why things were done in certain ways and what purposes they served. She fell in love with math in college because the degree was all about the "why" and the "how" of math. Now, she helps her students avoid the frustrations she felt in math by helping them connect to their prior knowledge and discover the patterns and the "why" behind what they are doing. This style of teaching does more than just help students succeed in their courses; it also fosters long-term growth and helps them learn to be mathematicians.

Meagan is a knowledgeable and patient math tutor who helps students find connections and patterns that fuel their math growth for the long term. She has over 5 years of experience working with elementary, middle, high school, and college students in subjects including Algebra I/II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre Calculus, and Calculus. She helps students prepare for tests including AP, IB, and SAT/ACT exams. Meagan also loves working with students over the summer to help them strengthen their skills between school years and build long-term retention of mathematical skills.
