About Manya

With over seven years of tutoring experience and a BSc in Mathematics and Statistics, I help high school students prepare for IB and A-Level Mathematics exams. My approach combines conceptual clarity with practical exam preparation. I guide students to truly understand each concept before moving into problem-solving. I also introduce diverse methods for tackling questions, which builds confidence and adaptability. Past paper practice is a vital component of my lessons, as it strengthens both technique and timing. I specialize in Algebra, Geometry, and Statistics, where I provide clear, structured explanations. My lessons are interactive, supportive, and tailored to each individual’s needs. Students often find they make progress quickly once they have a solid foundation. I believe math doesn’t have to feel overwhelming when taught with patience and clarity. About the lesson

Computational processes are explained in ways that connect to real-world coding. I use programming analogies often because they make abstract math easier to follow. Learners quickly see how math is not separate from technology but part of it. I adapt lessons for different learner types, from the Architect who likes designing systems to the Proof Seeker who values logical steps. Each concept is broken into clear parts so it feels approachable. Sessions are interactive, with space to ask questions and test ideas. I encourage learners to think critically about every problem. Feedback is supportive, ensuring students grow with each lesson. Lessons stay relaxed but focused on goals. Together, we’ll build both skill and confidence in applying math.
